Askania Elly BeinhornAged 24 she flew solo to Africa, got lost without a trace in the Sahara desert and appeared again after a 90 km walk in Timbuktu. She flew with the "Argus" and its just 80 hp to Australia and in 1935 the world-famous "Messerschmitt ME 108 Taifun" carried the young daredevil in one day from Glewitz in Slesia to the Bosporus and back to Berlin. 3.470 km in just 13 1/2 hours. Askania HeinkelAt the enormous speed of 370 kilometers per hour, the Heinkel "Blitz" HE 70 served the triangle Berlin-Cologne-Frankfurt. On board: four passengers and one pilot.
