  With this in mind, Breitling has equipped it with Caliber 27, an exclusive mechanism enabling dual visualization of measured times.  On one side, the 60-minute totalizer with centre pointer guarantees peerless readability of any meansurement under 1 hour.  For longer durations, a single two-hand counter shows both the hours and minutes.  This means the time elapsed is read off just as one reads the time, instantly and with no risk of confusion.  This impressive efficiency is reinforced by a slide rule, featuring simple and direct handling.  The resolutely aviation-orientated vocation of the Skyracer is also visible on the caseback, carrying a reminder of the essential symbols of the Ground Air Visual Signal Code.
