The Technograph was developed on the basis of the self-winding chronograph 7750 Valjoux movement. A clever system of two superimposed dials makes for a perfectly clear display of the hours and minutes in the centre of the reading zone, to the exclusion of all other indications, while the small seconds hand, the chronometer minute counter, the calendar and 300 division minute-circle are located in a peripheral zone on the lower dial.
The case and dial are set with 797 diamonds and the folding bucklet is set with 57 diamonds.
